Short version
Brandorum.ro is a cookieless website. We don't use tracking cookies, we don't run behavioral advertising, and we don't sell your data to data brokers. That's why you won't see a cookie banner on the site.
This page explains why.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They are generally used for:
- Functionality (for example, keeping you logged into a web app)
- Preferences (language, dark/light theme)
- Analytics (measuring how visitors use the site)
- Advertising (tracking you across sites for targeted ads)
Under Romanian law and GDPR, non-essential cookies require the user's explicit consent before being set.
2. What cookies Brandorum.ro uses
Tracking, analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies: none.
Strictly necessary cookies (essential for the site to work): none at the moment. The site has no forms with CSRF, no authentication, and no shopping cart that would require technical cookies.
3. How we measure traffic without cookies
We use Plausible Analytics — a cookieless traffic analytics platform, hosted in the European Union. Plausible:
- Does not set any cookies
- Does not collect individual IP addresses (it hashes them and discards them daily)
- Does not profile users and does not allow your identification
- Generates only aggregate stats (pageviews, traffic source, country, device type)

4. Chatbot (when active)
We will integrate a chatbot for direct communication with visitors. At the time of activation, the chosen provider may set functional cookies (to keep the conversation across pages).
We will update this section before the chatbot becomes active and will display a clear notice on the site so you can decide whether to interact with it.
5. How to manage cookies in your browser
Regardless of the site you visit, you have full control over cookies from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
You can block all cookies, delete existing ones, or get notified before any site sets one.
